Orientation program for First Year MBA students

Two days orientation program was conducted for the First Semester MBA students on 25th and 26th of September, 2009. Prof. Eric Patrao, Dean Planning and Development, SJEC spoke about the importance of listening and working in a team.

Dr Anjali Ganesh, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, SJEC spoke on how practice and dedication can lead to success.

Dr Prakash Pinto, Dean MBA, SJEC introduced the students to the mission and pedagogy of the department.

On 26th September Ms Felcy D'Souza, Librarian, SJEC spoke about the online and print resources available in the college library.

Ms Preethi D'Souza, Faculty, Department of Commerce, Mangalore University motivated the students and asked them to make the best use of the opportunities available to them. Opportunity knocks at the door only once, she added.

Prof. B. V. Raghunandan, Visiting Professor, SJEC spoke about study oriented career planning.
