Special Lecture on 'Bottom of the pyramid as Marketing Strategy' by Prof. Raghunandan

As part of the SJEC MBA Special Lecture Series, Prof. B. V. Raghunandan, from S. V. S. College, Bantwal and visiting professor of the Department of Business Administration, St Joseph Engineering College delivered a lecture on 'Bottom of the pyramid as Marketing Strategy' on Friday, 8th October, 2010 at 3.15pm for the MBA students at the SJEC Bethania Hall.

Prof. Raghunandan cited examples of the marketing strategy of Shri Mahila Griha Udyog, the makers of the famous Lijjat Papad and ITC’s e-Choupal, which is transforming the way farmers do business, and the way rural markets work. A special mention was made of Free eye camp by Dr Modi and how it was used as a marketing strategy.
